How do I know if my Vuse Ultra is charging?

When correctly placed on charge, the device screen will show the battery charging icon (battery icon withlightening bolt) and the device will vibrate.
The screen will dim after 15 seconds of charging, but will continue to show the battery percentage increasing as the device charges. The device will automatically stop charging when fully charged and the screen will be blank.
