When you first take the device out of the box, you will find the battery located underneath the device and instruction leaflet. Remove the protective label from the top of the battery. Then, insert the batter into the bottom of the device, ensuring the gold coloured contacts going in first and the Vuse logo facing upwards. The battery will click into place and the device will start up. 

Once inserted, the device will start and show the welcome message on the screen. It is recommended that you charge your device before first use, either via the charging cable provided or via wireless charging. Simply insert a Vuse Ultra Pod or Vuse Pod into the top of the device, the pod will be held in by magnets and the device will show that the pod is recognized. You can then simply puff on the pod.
